Colorado high school senior portraits from VERGE photographyAt VERGE photography we like to do senior portraits as a story of you rather than a zerox copy of your face. The story should be about you as a relational personality with achievements, humor, tastes, and friends reflected in the perfect story of you. The same way that an editorial photographer would do a story about a known personality (actress, writer, race car driver).Our photo journalistic approach to high school senior portrait photography comes from our work in publishing photography shooting for magazines and book covers as well as our extensive travel experience. We are simply photographing your senior portrait photos with the same level of expertise as our background and training in photojournalistic storytelling demands. Straight, posed portraits are not our style! High school seniors who have worked with us place a high priority on having their own distinct and unique style of images. Each senior's photo style is a story of it's own making, as it should be. As a rule, we spend time getting to know each person individually, so that we can understand how best to photograph you and your passions. Each photo session is about one and a half hours long with multiple locations, backdrops, and clothes changes. We also like to ask questions about you and your friends! What do you like to do in your spare time? What kind of movies do you watch? All of these things help us to get to know you better as a person.
